The trip was amazing starting with the company of women, accommodation and experience. I knew Climate change was a big issue but I didn’t realise there was a Conference to discuss it globally. The COP 26 experience was such a revelation of how Climate change is linked to most of the issues we face in our communities.

Review:
It was pleasant time to get to witness this event at this our point in time .We had a wonderful time, learning from other people what they are doing to tackle the climate problem that everyone is facing and of which is going to continue to affect generations to come.lf we do not do anything about it now,it will be too late to reverse these effects. It is about playing a part as an individual/cluster group /community/city/country and the world as a whole. This is our time to leave a footprint of change in whatever field we are in.
Thank you to Sawn and the funders who made it possible for us to meet, connect and network.

Sawn provided a environment for us ladies to spend time together and have fun ,getting to know each other and building a community spirit with women from different backgrounds. We were able to show our creative talents in different areas on a platform we could not have accessed as individuals. Thanks to our patron Mrs Rose Ssali and the ladies who work close with her for making this day happen

“The Cop 26 event which brought most SAWN sisters from Manchester together at Ardmay House, Glasgow last week, was fantastic!
It was well Organised, elegant and professional – just like all the women who are members of the SAWN networking group. Great impressive projects were showcased by the ladies and everyone was keen to mingle and talk about what they could do to help to reduce climate change – a really great event.
